The selection process is annual and opens Master and Doctorate vacancies according to the availability of guidance from the Program's professors.

The person who wants to apply must choose a line of research to which to direct his/her project in view of the suitability of the same to the possibilities of orientation of each professor in the year in which he/she will be competing.

The selection process takes place in two phases. The first one consists in the analysis by the members of each line of research to which the project was sent. After this first selection, only approved projects will be invited to the second stage. This second stage consists of an oral exam (in person or virtual) made by three members of each of the lines of research of the projects approved in the first stage.

Finally, there will be a theoretical test whose classification will serve as a basis for the distribution of scholarships available for the Program in the year in question.
